Serving Out of Convenience

Ministry is an overflow of the love of Jesus Christ in our hearts.

The magnitude and depth of His everlasting love captured our hearts and souls and we have come to render our lives to Him as servants.

At times of discomfort, stress and noise from all avenues of our lives, we look for shelter, refuge and comfort. These pollution would somehow sway us to think that it's best to live a quiet or rather silent act of serving.

But we are called not just to worship our God but to let the world know that Jesus still saves and is the only Savior. Jesus gave his disciples his last will and testament. Jesus' last words, "Go and make disciples of all nations." (Matthew 28:19) The greatest commission will never change, for The One who gave those orders is the same, yesterday, today and forever.

The Responsibility of Freedom by Myle Munroe

Wasted time is wasted life.
Time without purpose is life without meaning.
time - is an interruption in eternity
- a brief moment in eternity with measure
- time was given to fulfill your purpose
- time is a complete period of duration
Time manifests itself in seasons.

I Don't Mind Waiting

I came across Ms. Juanita Bynum. She's considered a great minister and has been called a prophetess. But one thing that struck and affected my soul while browsing through mementos of her was this song she made.

I don't mind waiting.

It is true that waiting would be one of the most difficult lessons one has to learn. It involves silence and stillness, which will bring forth inexplicable faith and peace as we learn to just surrender to the One asking us to wait.

Painful at times, you don't know what to do or where to go next. But waiting teaches us a sense of calmness amidst confusion.

Waiting teaches us to trust Him. He knows what to do and how to do it. All He asks of us is to trust in His impeccable judgment because everything He does it out of Love.

Therefore, I don't mind waiting.

Fresh Start this New Year

Hi, guys.

I want to share this video with you. This is very refreshing. Sends hope to all of us... gives us peace and confidence that this coming year is an opportunity to begin again, more intelligently.

Corrie Ten Boom's Testimony with Kathryn Kuhlman

It's amazing how a simple woman such as Corrie Ten Boom as such deep and great story to tell the world.

Her testimony about the life she had in the concentration camps with the Nazis, and how she lost her beloved sister in the  darkest hours of her life challenges us to  stand by our faith and believe that God's love for humanity can overshadow our hate and disbelief.

She has a compassionate heart, and how I pray each human being will capture the very essence of her life and influence the world to see life in the light of God's love.

Broken Vessels (2 Corinthians 4:7-12)

Welcome into This Place

Welcome into this place
Welcome into this broken vessel
You desire to abide in the praises of your people

So, we lift our hands
As, we lift our hearts
As, we offer up this praise unto your name.

Creation declares your glory
And the universe declares your majesty

2 Corinthians 4:7-12
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;
persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
11 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body.
12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.

BROKEN VESSELS
With all the breakings, blows and wounds, we become broken and helpless. At times, the situations and circumstances used to break us are so difficult but we need it to be more pliable. We need to be broken to fit the "mold." We become numb of the pain and the tests, which actually help us go through life by just surrendering to God's will. We become acceptable of the things happening in and around us, and thus just offering our brokenness and nothingness to God. But, like the great man who had it all, Job after all the tribulations came out strong, came forth as GOLD.

Do Not Worry (Matthew 6:25-34)

We are often tempted to worry. We worry about what will happen next. We gloat on things to come, even if usually, what we worry about doesn't happen.

God himself told us not to stress ourselves. And here we are thinking about all the possible negativities which we try to foretell as if we have absolute knowledge to what will happen in the next few seconds. We don't. Yet, the one who has already written the end and the beginning, told us, "Do not worry."

God would tarry to test us. He tells us to "wait patiently." Stand still and not move a finger. It's His work not ours. Until we learn and understand what Resting in His love truly means, we will live each day worrying about everything.

I don't want to worry anymore.

He says, "I care." God knows what we need and what we want. He sees all these things.

He says, "Wait." I'll handle it. If it comes and happens, He wanted it to happen. If it doesn't, He doesn't want it to happen. He has greater plans. More beautiful that what we are expecting. Far beyond was is reasonable for us. Exceedingly great and unfathomable.

So, to guys like me... God says "Wait and Rest." Just this once, try not to lift a finger and let God be God. See what happens.

Bible

An old wise man once said, "There are three kinds of books. Good books. Superior books. Great books. Good books inform. Superior books inform and entertain. Great books... change lives."

I just can't imagine a life without it. I am not ashamed that my life's principles are based on the wisdom embedded in this Holy Book of Life. It is my source of strength. The bible lights my path, especially when I am about to cross dark alleys and corners of this world's confusing avenues. The Bible simply gives my life direction. I find refuge in the pages empowered by knowledge and wisdom. No wonder it is the most published book in the entire universe. It speaks of the truth... and if we are wise to seek wisdom in its precious pages, it will truly set our hearts free.

Above all, the Bible is a love letter to the beloved from the Greatest Lover of Souls... Jesus Christ.
My life's worth and purpose is found in Him alone.
