But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.
These end-times have been given a sacred anointing.
The anointing is a Person. It's not a feeling. It's not a manifestation of a gift. This anointing is a Person. This anointing, when we receive it, it abides, it remains in us because it is a person.
Acts 9 23 After many days had gone by, there was a conspiracy among the Jews to kill him,24 but Saul learned of their plan. Day and night they kept close watch on the city gates in order to kill him.25 But his followers took him by night and lowered him in a basket through an opening in the wall.
Wasted time is wasted life. Time without purpose is life without meaning.
time - is an interruption in eternity - a brief moment in eternity with measure - time was given to fulfill your purpose - time is a complete period of duration
Time manifests itself in seasons.
I came across Ms. Juanita Bynum. She's considered a great minister and has been called a prophetess. But one thing that struck and affected my soul while browsing through mementos of her was this song she made.
I don't mind waiting.
It is true that waiting would be one of the most difficult lessons one has to learn. It involves silence and stillness, which will bring forth inexplicable faith and peace as we learn to just surrender to the One asking us to wait.
Painful at times, you don't know what to do or where to go next. But waiting teaches us a sense of calmness amidst confusion.
Waiting teaches us to trust Him. He knows what to do and how to do it. All He asks of us is to trust in His impeccable judgment because everything He does it out of Love.
I want to share this video with you. This is very refreshing. Sends hope to all of us... gives us peace and confidence that this coming year is an opportunity to begin again, more intelligently.
4 Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.
5 It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].
6 It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.
7 Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].
8 Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end].

4 This love of which I speak is slow to lose patience—it looks for a way of being constructive. It is not possessive: it is neither anxious to impress nor does it cherish inflated ideas of its own importance. 5-6 Love has good manners and does not pursue selfish advantage. It is not touchy. It does not keep account of evil or gloat over the wickedness of other people. On the contrary, it is glad with all good men when truth prevails. 7-8a Love knows no limit to its endurance, no end to its trust, no fading of its hope; it can outlast anything. It is, in fact, the one thing that still stands when all else has fallen.

3-7 If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.

It's amazing how a simple woman such as Corrie Ten Boom as such deep and great story to tell the world.
Her testimony about the life she had in the concentration camps with the Nazis, and how she lost her beloved sister in the darkest hours of her life challenges us to stand by our faith and believe that God's love for humanity can overshadow our hate and disbelief.
She has a compassionate heart, and how I pray each human being will capture the very essence of her life and influence the world to see life in the light of God's love.
Welcome into this place
Welcome into this broken vessel
You desire to abide in the praises of your people
So, we lift our hands
As, we lift our hearts
As, we offer up this praise unto your name.
Creation declares your glory
And the universe declares your majesty
2 Corinthians 4:7-12 7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 11 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. 12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you. BROKEN VESSELS
With all the breakings, blows and wounds, we become broken and helpless. At times, the situations and circumstances used to break us are so difficult but we need it to be more pliable. We need to be broken to fit the "mold." We become numb of the pain and the tests, which actually help us go through life by just surrendering to God's will. We become acceptable of the things happening in and around us, and thus just offering our brokenness and nothingness to God. But, like the great man who had it all, Job after all the tribulations came out strong, came forth as GOLD.
We are often tempted to worry. We worry about what will happen next. We gloat on things to come, even if usually, what we worry about doesn't happen.
God himself told us not to stress ourselves. And here we are thinking about all the possible negativities which we try to foretell as if we have absolute knowledge to what will happen in the next few seconds. We don't. Yet, the one who has already written the end and the beginning, told us, "Do not worry."
God would tarry to test us. He tells us to "wait patiently." Stand still and not move a finger. It's His work not ours. Until we learn and understand what Resting in His love truly means, we will live each day worrying about everything.
I don't want to worry anymore.
He says, "I care." God knows what we need and what we want. He sees all these things.
He says, "Wait." I'll handle it. If it comes and happens, He wanted it to happen. If it doesn't, He doesn't want it to happen. He has greater plans. More beautiful that what we are expecting. Far beyond was is reasonable for us. Exceedingly great and unfathomable.
So, to guys like me... God says "Wait and Rest." Just this once, try not to lift a finger and let God be God. See what happens.
An optimist, I've been looking around the Mega-Manila and seeing the towering condominiums being built. I smell progress and growth. I am hopeful as ever that Philippines will rise to its glorious and predestined progress. She will reclaim her beauty and once again capture the eyes of those who once forgot her.
I know Filipinos are now awakened. Filipinos are becoming risk-takers. It shows on how they venture in small-medium scale business. Diligence and perserance are qualities of Filipino citizens. We are hard-working and have a unique quality of making things light and easy to bear.
I just hope more cities, towns and provinces will capture the shift and economic transition happening in the Metropolis. I know leaders are also striving to ride with the wind of change and progress surging now in the archipelago.
To greater things, around the Philippines. Cheers!
I seldom say I miss you. I rarely say the words I love you. One thing I know, eventhough forgetting is difficult and a bit challenging it's worth the pain and suffering in the long-run.
We have those keepsakes engraved deep in our hearts. Memories which painted different shades of sadness and bliss in the history of our lives. But one thing I believe in, everything is pre-ordained. Where we are right now, is where we should be. We go through different testswhich become our testimony. The mess we made becomes our message. Our pain becomes our praise.
God is great. He will not give us beyond what we can carry. The load is just right for our capacity to endure. He tests us, so and we will come out stronger and ready to strengthen others.
I just want to thank the Lord for the strength.
He empowers us to forget. He makes things new every morning.
I saw this movie last year around Christmas. It was a sad story. Jane the author of well-received novels lived a melancholy life… at least, that’s how I see it.
She gave up on her beloved. She did not believe in the ability of the man to succeed. Her vision of Tom was jaded of the fear of the unknown. Perhaps, we need to see beyond circumstances. If she believed in the man that he is, and supported his dreams, it would be a different ending. What Tom needed that time was someone who would believe he can. She did not.
Wouldn’t it be great to know someone believes in us?
Going home is the best feeling of the day. It’s seeing the familiar faces, and being with souls who know your history. We may have traveled the world, some even went outerspace, but the best place and spot in this entire galaxy is that one spot with those closest to your heart. It may be the kitchen, the couch or a small little coffee shop just around the corner... but that’s where intimate conversations begin. Those are the moments when smiles and laughter resonate within your soul. These are then engraved in your spirit, something deeper which causes you to build sky-high memories you will cherish beyond these moments of immeasurable bonding.
No matter where you are in the world, still the best place is the place beside your beloved.
I've been working somewhere in Quezon City for almost 4 years now and I have noticed some things don't change. There were homeless kids around. They get on the jeepneys, giving away envelops to passengers. I see them everyday, doing the same old thing, chasing jeepneys and begging for money.
I wonder about their parents and their relatives. If they are orphans, then, I wonder about the government who promised to take care of these kids. They need shelter. They need food. If we could do something more precise, specific and comprehensive. I wonder. I wonder what kind of life they have to face in five to ten years if chasing jeepneys and giving out envelops are the only skills they use to survive.
This morning, my mom was watching a documentary film about the education system in our country. We don't have enough schools, enough books, enough chairs, tables and classroom. The teachers are also looking for greener pastures in other nations. Can we blame them?
This has been a cycle. We have chosen different leaders, and have experimented on their characters, backgrounds as if doing a trial and error solution to an algebra equation.
I am not complaining. I am just wondering... Just another human being hoping that life will be better for everyone.
An old wise man once said, "There are three kinds of books. Good books. Superior books. Great books. Good books inform. Superior books inform and entertain. Great books... change lives."
I just can't imagine a life without it. I am not ashamed that my life's principles are based on the wisdom embedded in this Holy Book of Life. It is my source of strength. The bible lights my path, especially when I am about to cross dark alleys and corners of this world's confusing avenues. The Bible simply gives my life direction. I find refuge in the pages empowered by knowledge and wisdom. No wonder it is the most published book in the entire universe. It speaks of the truth... and if we are wise to seek wisdom in its precious pages, it will truly set our hearts free.
"We are the sum total of what we have learned from all who have taught us, both great and small." - Myles Munroe
I see this blog not just a mere site, but my the culmination of who I am and everything I know (and will know). I started writing when I was a young girl. There is something with words and letters neatly arranged, forming beautiful songs of life which exudes from the very core of our souls. Writing just about anything pacifies my heart. It helps me ease burdens and enjoy bits and pieces of this world, captured in a page or two.
At this point in my life, I have decided to pursue my passion. Write and share my heart with this generation and the generations to come.
Above all, I dedicate my writing, whether on this web or on the pages of my journals (or just about anything) to the One Lover who gave me the heart to write. I thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for this gift and I honor Him in everything I do. To God be the glory.
