Hong Kong Protest 2014

I just can't help but write about this historical event.

The protesters are still out, trying their best to fight and claim their heart's desire -- democracy.

Students have been standing out, rain or shine, with the sincere hope that the system of government their parents and grandparents experienced will soon be granted them.

THE ANALOGY
Hong Kong grew and mature with its adoptive parent. It was taught with different values and culture, and then the time came when it needs to return to it biological parent.

Perhaps those who have a deep understanding of the history of Hong Kong, somehow foresee this event can happen... and is now happening.

God has a new one.

Commitment to be more thirsty and hungry for God.
Commitment to serve God.
Commitment to prosper.
- Do things that will add value to my life.
Commitment to family.
Commitment to pursue God.
- Seek Him with all of your heart.
- Don't enter into a new year bitter, because that is how you will be.

Evaluate yourself.
You cannot hide anything from God.

Do you want to enter a new season?
God has a new one.

Romans 6:13 "From Death to Life"

People would always experience death... Death to self. Death because of heartaches, pain, suffering caused by different situations no one ever wanted. But there is always beauty in death... When something dies, another starts to live.

For as long as Earth lasts,
        planting and harvest, cold and heat,
    Summer and winter, day and night
        will never stop.” (Genesis 8:22)

This is the cycle of life. When something dies in us, when something ends... something begins.

The Lord God have demonstrated that on the cross. He died. He lived... and will live forevermore.

The process of dying is undoubtedly painful. Dying is a process. There is a decaying of the old self until the whole flesh is gone away with.

The Lord says, "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me will live even though they die." But when we continue to trust and believe that he is not the God of the dead but of the living, like Him we will definitely and surely live again. He has overcome death.

I believe in a God who even though he died, lived... and continues to live forevermore. I am assured that those who believes in him will live even though they die.

Patience in Waiting

Proverbs 23:18 New International Version (NIV)

There is surely a future hope for you,
and your hope will not be cut off.

We must wait in patience for God's appointed time.

He knows the perfect time for your miracle.

He promised is faithful.

Your tears and prayers are never wasted.

He never neglects our prayers.

Our tears are kept in His bottle. (Psalm 56:8)

Serving Out of Convenience

Ministry is an overflow of the love of Jesus Christ in our hearts.

The magnitude and depth of His everlasting love captured our hearts and souls and we have come to render our lives to Him as servants.

At times of discomfort, stress and noise from all avenues of our lives, we look for shelter, refuge and comfort. These pollution would somehow sway us to think that it's best to live a quiet or rather silent act of serving.

But we are called not just to worship our God but to let the world know that Jesus still saves and is the only Savior. Jesus gave his disciples his last will and testament. Jesus' last words, "Go and make disciples of all nations." (Matthew 28:19) The greatest commission will never change, for The One who gave those orders is the same, yesterday, today and forever.

There will be a radical change in the structure of the true body of Christ.

The Real Body of Christ will understand the true mandate.

Most of Jesus' ministry was not inside the synagogues.

Most of the ministry of the early church, the apostles, the early disciples of the early church, were not in the synagogues. Not in the so-called church buildings of that day.

To fulfill ministry, somehow, Jesus had to go outside the temple and outside the synagogue. The reason is very clear... because the poor were outside, the sick, the destitute, the broken-hearted were outside the synagogue. Jesus had to go outside the synagogue.

The early church, the church of Jesus Christ got the job done. They literally fulfilled the great commission.

It is time for us to come out.

Remember the prophecy. The shaking was coming.
